Personally, when it comes to using subtitles to watch movies or TV shows, it's something that I love so much because it helps me to focus on the movie or TV show very well. It helps me not to miss any conversation in the movie or TV show.

Subtitles are very big distraction whenever I'm watching movies that have them. I always have them removed or turned off whatever I am seeing a movie as long as it is in English language.
Currently, I'm using MovieBox app to stream all my favourite movies and TV shows. Every contents streamed on the app comes with a subtitle and I love it so much.
I always use subtitles too. They make it much easier to follow the dialogue, especially when characters speak quietly or have strong accents.
