I recently started using a MIFI for my internet connection and it's so much better than having my data subscription set up on my smartphone sim card.
Now, my android smartphone battery lasts longer than it used to and it doesn't heat up like it used to. Even the data pay is cheaper and in bigger volume with the MIFI.
Some years ago, I don't make use of MIFI or even WiFi. I use SIM card in my phone to connect to the internet. But now, I'm using a router WiFi for all my internet connection and it's serving me very well.
Using MIFI is the best in my opinion. It's Internet connection speed is faster. I hate it when I have to deal with slow internet connection. It's very annoying and frustrating.

Why I use a Router is because how strong the internet connection is when I'm using it. It's stronger than any mobile internet connection one can use on his phone. The Router doesn't get disconnected by any incoming calls like mobile networks do.
