Hiroyuki Sanada’s Shogun reportedly won’t get a Season 2 after a report from the producer. Shogun is the most streamed TV show on Hulu right now. It's currently in the 4th episode which streams every Monday.

The latest update is that they have actually changed their mind and decided to go for a season 2 of the TV show which is something that every fan of the show is very happy about. It would have been so bad for them not to have a season 2 for Shogun.
It would have been a very stupid thing for them not to continue a season 2 of Shogun because the whole story was not completely wrapped up in season 1. Fans are very expectant on having a season 2.
I am very glad they have had a change of mind when it comes to continue the TV show Shogun. A lot of people expected them to continue this season because it was a very good one and they have finally realized that.
Season 2 and 3 of Shogun was green-lit after the success of Season 1. The producers at FX / Hulu and the estate of the original author committed to extend the story beyond its original limited scope.
The production for Season 2 is set to begin in January 2026, in Vancouver, Canada.
I thought they wouldn't change their mind on this but finally glad they did because it would have been a big neglect if we didn't get at least season 2 of Shogun.
